APrivacy Selected into the Singapore Global FinTech Hackcelerator

HONG KONG, OCTOBER 5, 2016 — Among 655 FinTech start-ups from across the globe, APrivacy is honoured to have been selected to be part of the Global FinTech Hackcelerator organised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), and powered by PwC and Plug & Play.
APrivacy, with 19 other FinTech start-ups, has been offered to engage in this exciting program which will include solid mentorship, high-level networking, and first-class infrastructure facilities for APrivacy’s innovative technology development.
APrivacy was selected on the basis of its solution proposals resolving many of the 100 financial industry’s problem statements submitted through this FinTech challenge, and focusing mainly on authentication, statements, payments and secure transmission. Among the 20 companies worldwide chosen by MAS, APrivacy is the only one based in Hong Kong.

“We couldn’t be happier and more honoured by this selection which will undoubtedly help the company’s development in the Singapore financial community, and consolidate our legitimacy in the Asia-Pacific region” stated the founder and CEO, Dr. Cédric Jeannot.

The 10-week virtual program will provide the opportunity to match technology industry experts with buyers from the financial services sector. A demo day on 15 November 2016, held during the FinTech Festival in Singapore, will give APrivacy the opportunity to showcase to the attendees its leading-edge technology which combines military-grade data security with seamless user experience for financial services and their clients.
