November 23, 2016
HONG KONG, NOVEMBER 23, 2016 — Organised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and in partnership with The Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS), the Singapore FinTech Festival held last week (Nov 14-18) was the largest FinTech event to be hosted in the world to date. +11,000 attendees from 50 countries, and a fantastic number of high-level speakers from the financial and tech fields participated in multiple conferences and networking events.
APrivacy was selected as one of 20 FinTech start-ups (out of 655 applicants) to participate in the MAS Global FinTech Hackcelerator. Dr. Cédric Jeannot,Founder and CEO of the company, had the opportunity to pitch the company and to demo its innovative technology and products during the Demo Day on November 15th. In front of 11 judges and more than 350 attendees, Dr. Jeannot showcased how APrivacy empowers the Financial Services Industry to securely and compliantly serve their customers over multiple communication channels while offering an enhanced digital experience.
APrivacy was again invited on stage for the ABS-MAS RegTech Forum. Only 3 start-ups were given the opportunity to talk in front of an audience of 500 attendees, and Dr. Jeannot took the most of this great opportunity to talk again about APrivacy, this time with a regulatory focus.
About the Festival, Dr. Cédric Jeannot said: “The whole week was an amazing experience and being part of the MAS Hackcelerator has provided us with great exposure. The Festival was a huge opportunity to showcase our solutions and tell APrivacy’s story to high-level players in the industry. We felt a powerful synergy within the FinTech community and we are looking forward to following up with all the financial institutions we met there”.
